Mozilla Firefox 14 Aurora is the Alpha version of Firefox. Please note that because this is an early development version of Firefox, it can be very unstable and may not work with many add-ons.
If you want to test the latest version of Firefox then the Aurora releases are always worth keeping track of. One of the first things you'll notice with Firefox Aurora however is that many of your add-ons are incompatible with it. However, when you install it, it won't overwrite your existing installation of Firefox - it runs as a separate application so you can test it to your heart's content without worrying.
The most interesting changes in version 14 are not yet finished but include support for Firefox in Windows, introduction of desktop apps and a panel-based download manager. There's also a new auto-complete feature and some under the hood changes.
Firefox 14 Aurora doesn't offer anything special but hardcore Firefox fans should keep an eye on it for the latest Mozilla innovations.
